Kelly Ripa Gets Low For Luda; Ludacris And Jamie Foxx Headline HIV/AIDS Campaign [Video]

Platinum recording artists and critically acclaimed actors Ludacris and Jamie Foxx are stepping up to combat the growing HIV/AIDs problem in the Black community.

The pair has teamed up with the Center For Disease Control for their “I Know" campaign, an effort that uses Facebook, Twitter, a new Web site, and text messages to break down barriers of silence on the disease.

Luda is starring in video messages about the problem while Jamie will make radio and video PSAs encouraging youth to get tested and break their silence.

CDC representative Robert Bailey gave HipHopWired a statement on “I Know” saying,

“The “I Know” effort is our new social media effort we're using to spark conversation about HIV among African American young adults. We're trying to encourage young African Americans age 18-24 to talk openly and often about HIV online and offline. Wherever you live, work, play, worship, learn, we're hoping that “I Know” will allow these youth to connect where they talk and normally share information and take action. African American users are among the fastest growing groups in social media."

The head of national partnerships in the CDC's Division of HIV/AIDS prevention also says that The Ludacris Foundation is notorious for their work with the organization and that Jamie was eager to join in after hearing the statistics.

"We've been working with the Ludacris Foundation for a few years now. With Jamie he had a number of reasons for getting involved. For one, he has a young daughter and after hearing about the statistics he said that this was something he'd like to get involved in. This was an opportunity for us to be highly visible in engaging and using their voices to put the message out. Both of them have been engaged and concerned about the issue. “

In between speaking on this serious subject matter with Jamie Foxx and the CDC, Ludacris still manages time to have some fun.
The highest-selling Southern hip-hop solo artist of all time made a recent appearance on “Live With Regis and Kelly” and performed his hit single “How Low.”

Co-host Kelly Ripa was in rare form and got down for Luda showing him just how low she could really go.

Roscoe Dash Wants Andre 3000; Talks Debut 'Ready Set Go'

Having recently participated in BET’s Rip the Runway and fresh off the success of the nationwide hit “All The Way Turnt Up,” rapper Roscoe Dash is staying busy in the months leading up to his debut album entitled Ready Set Go.

The album is still in the process of being completed, but is set to release on May 11th , following several other projects by the Atlanta rapper, who hails from the Zone 4 section of the city.

Production on Ready Set Go will be handled by KE on the Track and Dungeon Family producer Rico Wade of Organized Noise, the legendary production team behind acts like Outkast, Goodie M.O.B. and others.

"I’m working with their [Dungeon Family] producer Rico Wade and we’ve been working on some stuff, and I am trying to push to get Andre [3000] featured on one of my songs,” Roscoe Dash told AllHipHop.com. “Be on the look out for that, no telling with that. Rico is a real cool cat and he works hard. He has his own lane with the beats. No matter what year it is, he always brings that old school feel of hip hop, so I definitely need to get some of that on the album as well."

Roscoe took the time to clear up a bit of controversy surrounding his current hit song "All the Way Turnt Up," due to issues with fellow Atlanta rapper Travis Porter performing the song and releasing it on a mixtape.

Roscoe has since dropped an official remix featuring Soulja Boy and there other remixes coming soon too.

"Yea it’s actually the official version now that we took Travis off with everything that was going on with them," Roscoe told AllHipHop.com about the new remix. "So the remix is with Soulja Boy and [that] put it all the way to the roof, so the feature with Soulja Boy on there is the official version."

When asked about his current relationship with Travis Porter and his crew, he said that they hadn’t spoken in several months.

"I don’t feel any type of way about it, but its just like I wouldn’t have had a problem with them performing the song if I was getting my cut for the performance and if they were to say, ‘this is Roscoe’s song’ then we wouldn’t have no issue with it at all,” Roscoe Dash told AllHipHop.com.

Over the next few months, Roscoe will be coming out with two mixtapes.

The first one is a DJ Kutt Throat mixtape called Can’t Catch the Lambo.

That will be followed with collaboration with rapper Wacka Flocka Flames, which will be hosted by DJ Holiday.

Roscoe Dash will next perform at BET’s Spring Bling March 25th in West Palm Beach, Florida.

A fifth grader was detained by Pittsburgh police after they say she brought Fruity Pebbles “treats” laced with marijuana to school.

The fifth grade girl shared the snacks with her fellow classmates but police say none of the children got sick or high.

Parents of the children who ingested the food were called and the children were sent home.

The girl says she got the marijuana laced snacks from her sister who used her medical marijuana card to buy the treats.

The fifth grader was fully aware that her snack of choice was laced with the drug.

No arrests have been made.

Rapper Khia Disses Trina Over Leaked Nude Pics

"If More Of U Delayed H*es Was Tittie Feed U Would Have Mo Since Instead Of Being A Yuck Mouf Like Hurrican K Trina lol F*ck Them H*es BAD D*CK IS THE BLAME..

With Trina taking matter into her own hands an reportedly contacting the FBI for a full investigation of her leaked photos, some prefer to kick the wounded while they are down.

Although being out of the spotlight for quite some time, rapper Khia always find the window of opportunity as he pokes fun at the Diamond Princess and even insists that the pictures are revealing a disease she might have.

Becoming the best outlet for a platform, Khia steadily typed her fingers on Twitter today to throw stones at the Miami rapper.

“I TOLD YALL ON THE HIT EM UP DISS THAT SHE WAS CORROTED ONE DAY YALL GONE LISTEN 2 THE QUEEN..TEAM KHIA LETS TAKE OVER WE HAVE WORK 2DO."

From there, the one-hit wonder proceeded to exercise her ability to become part of the rising epidemic that is “The Internet Thug”.

"ANGERMANAGEMENT PEOPLE..YALL MAD WE GAGGING..I DONT F*CK WIT FAKES H*ES SHE CALLED I SAID H*LL NAW TRINA CALLED I SAID TRIPPLE H*LL NAW NO LETS KEEP IT 100 LOL..What In The World Is @darealkhiaTalking About Lol Dumb B*tch Go On Hurricane K-trinas Page Y R U Here??? As far as a response from Trina is concerned, it seems almost inevitable, but comparing the relevance of each rapper in today's ring of Hip-Hop, that in itself speaks volumes.
